About Jane

Newport Beach and surrounding areas has been artist Jane Hill’s home since the 1960’s.  Among her beautiful paintings, Jane has chronicled Newport Beach’s historic landmarks and today creates paintings depicting distinctive features of the region that many of us recognize and hold dear to our hearts.

Notable places like The Pavilion, Fun Zone, Wedge, the Dory boats and scenes of the harbor are among her internationally recognized subjects.  Famous eateries such as The Crab Cooker, The Arches and Charlie’s Chili are included in her collection. Through her many enjoyable years of boating and fishing, she has come to know the area from the sea to the shore.

A commission painter, Jane has painted all forms of art for homes and offices, matching colors and textures to suit her clients needs.  Animals, one of her favorite subjects, include dogs, cats, horses and wildlife.

Jane received her formal training at UCLA and Chouinard Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles.  Jane Hill Studio has been operating in the Newport Beach area since the 1970s.
